- A few updates from us:
------------------------------------------------------------
For the past four decades, NCVC has operated as a nonpartisan organization dedicated to advocating for and supporting all victims of crime. This principle has guided our work and will continue as we look forward. We remain committed to our nonpartisan approach, focused solely on the needs of victims and the pursuit of justice for all.
One of our most crucial programs, our VictimConnect Resource Center, helps more than 10,000 victims — for free and confidentially — every year. Right now, the immediate future of this critical service is unclear amid news that federal grants may be paused. Though we believe this administration will agree our services are crucial and will be approved, we need funds now to bridge the gap.
Any amount you can give right now will help us ensure that our victim-assistance specialists are ready to answer when someone calls. If you can give, your 100% tax-deductible donation will help us provide direct support to victims during this uncertain time. Thank you for your support — now and always.
A note to organizations — and anyone trying to reach us:
It’s come to our attention that some partner organizations and others may have incorrect or outdated contact information for us listed on their websites. The National Center for Victims of Crime’s website is victimsofcrime.org (http://victimsofcrime.org/) and our phone number is 202-467-8700. Please update any contact information you have!
Have news you want to share in our February 12th, 2025 issue? Here’s what to do: Submit a paragraph of 150 words or less with the information you want to share to no later than noon Eastern on Monday, February 10, so we can try to fit it in! We generally are unable to accommodate images, so please make sure all relevant links are in your text submission.
