Description

I wanted to check in and see if you got my note about common health risks
while charging your electronic gadgets?

Thanks,
Megan

I noticed you shared an article from FDA.gov when you talked about common
health risks while charging your electronic gadgets, here:

Did you know that there have been stories in the press of people dying
because their phones overcharged and exploded? In fact, we found more than
15 million results when we searched for the term: is overcharging your
phone dangerous.

So, we put our crack research team on the job and published an article
addressing this commonly held concern. We started with the question of
whether it’s even possible to overcharge your phone. Then we looked at the
best practices in charging, cable management, etc. Lastly, we dug into
these stories of physical injury, and examined whether that’s a risk you
need to worry about.

As you might expect, the headlines are a bit extreme, but there’s a kernel
of truth in the stories, and there are important steps that your readers
should take.

Here’s the article:

I know it's a big request, but if you like it, would you consider linking
to our article?

Please let me know if you have any questions, and thank you for your time.

Take care,

-Megan
